IDEA is an innovative skill development Project grounded by FACE that supports 1500+ adolescents with knowledge, vocational skills, life skills, MHM sensitivity and confidence for a healthier transition into adulthood. The platform responds to critical gaps in information and discussion around adolescence, especially in rural contexts through 4 Cluster level Resource centers (Ilami, Jhilarhati, Chanchki and Sangrampur).

Specific Activities
  • Conducting regular skill development sessions on Spoken English, Digital Literacy and Stitching along with awareness on menstrual hygiene and reproductive health.
  • Building village wise Girls and Boys collective to address community and peer support addressing social issues
  • Establishment & Activation of Panchayet and Village level support groups to work on local issues hindering adolescent and community growth for long lasting impact.
  • Building core life skills such as communication, decision-making, confidence, problem-solving, and stress management.
  • Creating peer-support networks (peer leaders) for sustainable outcome of Social actions
  • Sensitizing Adolescents and community members to access Govt. schemes and benefits
  • Strengthening social culture & eco-system to maximize school enrolment/ regularity along with minimize Child-marriage , violence against girls or women, promoting higher education for girls through Power-walk, School-linkage, Gao-choupals, Tola meetings, Parental Counselling and collaborative Events.
