Location – Murshidabad District of West Bengal

FACE expanded it’s coverage diagram from Jharkhand to West Bengal with this new educational Project formulated for 40 rural villages from Suti-II and Samserganj blocks of Murshidabad District -West Bengal to support 1400 girls aged 6-14 who are basically drop-out, never enrolled or irregular in schooling in achieving their foundational level learning competency and get re-engaged with formal schooling at nearest Govt. Schools.

Specific Activities

Identification of Out-of-School girls through survey & baseline.
Community-based Bridge learning center establishment for regular intervention.
Selection and train local women as Academic facilitator to conduct regular classes with outcome oriented learning pedagogues.
Community meeting , door to door campaign towards educational systematization of girl children.
Activity-based & joyful learning environment development in centers to maximize student’s learning interest level.
Regular assessment to review student’s learning progress and set action plan accordingly.
Promote important days celebration culture at center level to spread awareness among girls and community.
Exposure visit for girls to acquire practical and on-hand learning experiences.
Mainstreaming girls at Govt. Schools and KGVV’s for continuation of studies.
